    Should I Buy Luminar AI
    on: February 26, 2021 at 2:57 pm

There’s a medical maxim I was taught a long time ago: “the feasibility of an operation is no indication for its performance”. I’m no purist: I remove stuff from photos, doing the best I can with my rudimentary Photoshop skills. I’ve not seen anything about Luminar AI that tempts me, I confess.

Worth keeping, I’d say: the bird’s nicely crisp. Glad to read the c-word, Russ!

The colours you find in Morocco are striking, Keith. I’m intrigued by the small arch. Why the plural in the title?

I like it very much. The mist adds eeriness which combines well with the B&W processing.

He was plummeting down to the pond from next door’s garage roof. The light wasn’t brilliant: these are 1/250, f8, ISO 1600, on my RX10iv at nearly full zoom. I’ll keep trying: it’ll be easier in the summer, when the sun is brighter.

Kevin, put me down for another trip to Japan. I loved the place.

David, we were in Hokkaido for the eagles. Can’t recall exactly where.

Nicely done. I like the wing dipping into the water.

    Lovely shot, Hugh.

Paul, I looked at those videos a few years ago and thought, what the hell, I’ll prepare and it’ll be worth it. Then I tried several times to get tickets in the lottery for some time in the two weeks I was going to spend in the US, and failed. My wife said she was glad. One day, though…
