    Color images of birds are a dime a dozen, and when those birds are sporting colorful plumage, it would be a sin to cast them in a negative light. However, Snowy, Tri-Color (juveniles) and Great Egrets though more colorful in breeding attire, for the most part are just white and black, thus the conversion.

    That’s a pretty cool image.  Captivating.  I had to look at it for a while.

    Agree with Kevin – cool effect how the reflection of the bird mixed in with the water textures.
