    Fast shutter to both catch the action and to get a clean, sharp eye which is critical for a Bird in Flight shot.

     

    f/8, ISO 400, 1/1600 +.7 EV Nikon D500, 200-500 at 500MM

    The first one looks like an Audubon painting. They’re both great

    Chris well done.  Makes me envious.  I need to photograph more birds.  One of my goals for this year.  I want to put the new a1 to the test.

    Both are fine. I prefer the second, though I’m not sure why. Maybe because

    of the symmetry.

    Well done, Chris. There’s a rookery not far from here, but they haven’t really started nest building yet this year.
