Daily Chat – The Katmia Bears Photo Tin Project
The Katmai Bears Project
Today’s chat is about a project I just completed. It’s the Photo Tin, Katmai Bears. As many of you reading and watching this know I am a big believer in projects and one of those projects is to use Photo Tins from Hahnmulle Paper to do these projects. The Photo Tins come in 4×6 and 5×8 sizes in various paper types. I love them as they are small enough to store and show easily and pretty affordable. You don’t always need to print big. You do need to print though.
Printing to me and I know I sound like a broken record is the final step to make a real photograph. In my world, I don’t have a photograph until it is printed. I have many articles and videos on this and multi-day workshops where we dive deeply into making fine art prints. You can find out more about our Fine Art Printing Workshops HERE. You can view my article on making the Photo Tins HERE.

You can purchase the Photo Tins at B&H and Amazon at the links below. I strongly suggest you try these out. They will become addictive as far as showing off your work. I have also included the link to my article.

Photography is my passion and has been for 50 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of picture taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can, hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through photoPXL.com, this site, as well as Rockhopper Workshops, and other projects, as well as teaching as Artist In Residence at the Indianapolis Art Center.
