RAW Edits With Kevin Part One Recording
We have been doing a live Edit RAWs With Kevin for the last two Tuesdays. We have one more evening scheduled for Tuesday, August 25th, 2020. You can register for this event and find out more HERE. You must be registered to attend the event. You can Register HERE.
During this event, I take RAW files sent in by our readers and show how I would process them. I look at a number of aspects starting with the histogram and overall image composition. From there we move into white balance, cropping, adjustments for exposure, and recovery of highlights and shadows. I will then decide how to fine-tune the image using layers and adjustments and for some images use luminosity masking. I’ll then show a before and after. It’s fun and gives you a good idea of the potential of an image.
Below is the recording in case you missed the first event. Please enjoy.
Photography is my passion and has been for 50 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of picture taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can, hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through photoPXL.com, this site, as well as Rockhopper Workshops, and other projects, as well as teaching as Artist In Residence at the Indianapolis Art Center.
