Faroe Islands Photography Workshop 2023

An Amazing Photographic Adventure

2023 will be here before we know it.  And, once again Steve Gosling and I are going to offer a magnificent photography workshop in the Faroe Islands.  Steve and I have been doing workshops as well as photographing in the Faroe Islands for a number of years now.

This workshop will run May 6-13, 2023.  Photographing in the Faroe Islands is an incredible opportunity to see a diverse landscape that has huge cliffs, beautiful quaint villages, and a chance to do some abstracts at a few of our favorite locations.

The 2022 workshop sold out quickly, and we did two back-to-back workshops.  As of now, we are planning one workshop, but if interest is strong we may just decide to offer two again.  We limit the group to ten photographers and we will travel in two vans.

Photography is an all-day affair in the Faroes.  We are happy to offer small group sessions after dinner, but this workshop is focused on photography and going to many places.  We may even offer a tour from the water.  That will be decided as we get closer to the workshop date and has a separate fee for it.

All the information, as well as a lot of photos, can be found on the Rockhopper Workshops website.  As of the posting of this article, we have seven spaces available.

Oh, we will be staying at a great hotel with great meals.  For lunches, we have a few spots that will add some variety to the menu.  You won’t go hungry.

Steve and I both hope you can join us for this magnificent workshop and photo experience.

Photography is my passion and has been for 50 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of picture taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can, hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through photoPXL.com, this site, as well as Rockhopper Workshops, and other projects, as well as teaching as Artist In Residence at the Indianapolis Art Center.
