The Way I See It – Don’t Miss It

Pete Souza a name most photographers are familiar with.  he’s been the personal photographer to two US Presidents.  He’s an outspoken critic of President Trump and now has his own movie – documentary on his experiences as a White House photographer, The Way I See It.  Pete is not only an amazing photojournalist but also a great story teller and like many photopgrahers I know, a compasionate person.

The Trailer

This Friday evening if you are a US resident you can watch The Way I See It on MSNBC at 10 PM Eastern US.  Presently this film is being shown in theaters but this Friday you can see it in its entirety on MSNBC.  The film will be available elsewhere on various streaming services.

Pete also has two good books worth looking into.  I think they are both worth having in your library.  The first book is Obama: An Intimate Portrait and the second is Shade: A Tale Of Two Presidents.  You can also follow Pete on Instagram and Twitter and enjoy his website.

Leave your comments on the forum after you have viewed this film.

Photography is my passion and has been for 50 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of picture taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can, hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through photoPXL.com, this site, as well as Rockhopper Workshops, and other projects, as well as teaching as Artist In Residence at the Indianapolis Art Center.
