The Artrillion Print – Review
In this article along with the accompanying video I will be showcasing a product from the folks at artrillion.com. Artrillion recently sent me one of their 24X36 inch canvas prints. What separates Artrillion from other online canvas printing companies is that they give you the option to pair your image with personalized text.

For this piece, I submitted an image from our 2020 trip to Antarctica. As you can see in the video the canvas print was shipped securely and after opening it I was immediately surprised with how well the product came out. The frame is built well and comes ready to hang with a sawtooth hanger. It is great when a product like this comes ready to hang however, I will likely add a wire hanger to the back so that the print lays flush against the wall.

I was happy with how the colors in the print really pop. I like how this print in combination with the text gives viewers a true snap shot of our incredible journey. In the text, I used quotes from early Antarctic explorers and quotes from some interviews I conducted while at sea on our trip. Quotes from myself, Kevin Raber, Art Wolfe and Cheli Larsen, our expedition leader, can all be read in the text.

I came across artillion.com from an ad I saw on Instagram. I liked the concept and the many possibilities of using this type of design. There are variety of sizes to choose from and it was extremely easy to upload an image and submit the copy. From there, you have the opportunity to proof your work before it is printed. All of ARTrillion’s canvases are handmade in the USA and printed on the highest quality poly-cotton hand stretched canvas. Remember they do print canvases without text so if you are just looking for a nice canvas print you can do that as well.
At PhotoPXL we believe that photography isn’t complete until you are holding a print in your hands and I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for a unique way to display their art. I want to thank artrillion.com for sending us this amazing piece to review and I invite you to check their their website.
