Photography Workshops Update

As expected, workshops for next year are filling fast.
Both Palouse workshops in June of next year sold out within 48 hours. The Faroe Island workshop sold out within a few days. Our other workshops are filling fast. I certainly think we will be past the COVID issues by next year, so now is the time to book your future travel.
Workshop Space Availability
Svalbard
The Svalbard workshop next year has also seen a significant response. Presently we have only 1 cabin with 2 berths left. If you are interested in this trip now is the time to make your reservation.
Greenland
The Greenland Workshop has also booked rapidly. This is what is still available. This trip on the Balto is like having your own yacht. We’ll be exploring some amazing places.
Trip 1 August 17-24, 2022 has 1 owner’s cabin and 1 berth is a superior cabin available.
Trip 2 August 24-21, 2022 has 1 owner’s cabin and 3 double cabins (6 berths)
Antarctica
We will be posting a photographers-only workshop in Antarctica soon. The dates will be February 11-18, 2023. More information on this trip coming soon.
Iceland

We will be doing two 10 day workshops to Iceland in 2022. The dates for these will be March 7-17, 2022, and September 16-24, 2022. Look for information on these workshops soon. If you have never experienced Iceland, then this is the trip to do it on.

Fine Art Printing Workshops

We have recently moved into an unused space in The Stutz building where we have been for the last five years. This new space is being set up to be a teaching and video space.
We will soon announce a series of Fine Art Printing workshops for up to 8 people each. This workshop looks like it will be a three day workshop and designed for those who are interested in learning how to make the best image possible from their digital files.
We. presently have 2 Canon printers and two Epson printers so everyone attending will get a lot of time making prints. More details will be announced soon.
The Future
We are looking at doing more workshops in different parts of the world like Tuscany, Dolomites, Ireland, and Scotland. Besides our popular polar destinations. As we get past the current pandemic and see the world open up for travel again, we will be announcing new workshops. I’m even looking at going back to New Zealand and Australia.
In the meantime, please stay safe and consider the workshops we do have posted. Links are above for each workshop. You can also go to Rockhopper workshops to see everything being offered. I will announce here new workshops as well as the workshop section of the photoPXL site.

Photography is my passion and has been for5 0 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of picture taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can, hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through photoPXL.com, this site, as well as Rockhopper Workshops, and other projects, as well as teaching as Artist In Residence at the Indianapolis Art Center.
