Photo Chat With Ian Plant – April 10. 2024 at 2PM (EST)

We are back again with a new Photo Chat on April 10, 2024, at 2 PM Eastern Time, featuring the amazing landscape photographer Ian Plant. I met Ian for the first time in December when we were both instructors on a Muench Workshop to Antarctica.

It didn’t take long for us to become friends.  During the trip, along with the rest of the instructors, we presented several presentations.  Ian’s presentation was well presented, high energy, and contained some great content.  I immediately thought that Ian would be perfect of Photo Chats and asked if he’d join us and do a presentation.

The Program

Professional landscape and wildlife photographer Ian Plant will share some of his favorite photos from around the world, as well as some of his top composition techniques for making artistic nature photographs that get noticed. Ian is the author of the critically acclaimed, bestselling eBook “Visual Flow: Mastering the Art of Composition,” which is now part of his Ultimate Photography Composition Course. This inspiring presentation will help you gain a better understanding of visual design principles, which will help you take photos that stand out.

Ian’s images and presentation style will inspire you to get out and start taking photographs.  After his presentation, Ian will be available to answer questions.

You can view more information on Ian’s website.

As with all our Photo Chats, this presentation will be recorded and published on the photoPXL website and YouTube channel.

Photography is my passion and has been for 50 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of picture taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can, hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through photoPXL.com, this site, as well as Rockhopper Workshops, and other projects, as well as teaching as Artist In Residence at the Indianapolis Art Center.
