Kevin and Jeff’s Adventure

What better way to enjoy photography than to share it with a friend. Since last Wednesday the 30th of October, I have been on a journey with my good friend and someone many of you know Jeff Schewe. Our adventure began after meeting up in Las Vegas and getting a rental car, after which we headed to Red Rock Canyon for some photography. After one night there, we headed to Death Valley, where we would meet up with Alain Briot, who was running one of his Fine Art Print Summits. Jeff and I helped Alain during the workshop as well as having the chance to take many photographs and adventure

After a few days there, we headed to Alabama Hills and Lone Pine, where we were blessed with great light. We spent a morning photographing sunrise there and then headed to Mono Lake, where we arrived to find gorgeous sun and amazing skies and a very productive evening of photography.
All along the way, we have met some incredible people and had a lot of fun together. We have spent hours talking about photography and what can be done to make photoPXL even a better site for our community and readers.

Today we head to Yosemite. We hope to meet up with Charlie Cramer, and William Neil and maybe some others as well as get our photography done.

I’ll be posting a story about The Incredible Adventures Of Jeff and Kevin once I get home and can process images. For now, though, we have been keeping a running timeline going on both of our facebook pages. You can visit Kevin’s Facebook page and Jeff’s Facebook page to get a fun idea of what we have been doing. We update the pages throughout the day if internet connections permit, so check back often.
We fly back home on Monday.

Photography is my passion and has been for5 0 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel the world, meet some of the most interesting people on the planet and see things I could never have dreamed of. My goal is to share the passion of picture taking through photographs and teaching with as many people as I can, hoping it brings them as much joy and happiness as it has me. I do this through photoPXL.com, this site, as well as Rockhopper Workshops, and other projects, as well as teaching as Artist In Residence at the Indianapolis Art Center.
