    Hi Kevin

First of all – thanks to everyone for trying to help me solve this problem.

    I followed your suggestions

First I tried a different file and got the same results – off center.  See attached screenshots.

Next I printed using EPL and it was perfectly centered- see pictures.

So, using scientific reasoning, it would seem it’s not the printer or computer but rather a Lightroom issue.  I would really like to figure it out as I prefer to print from LR as it offers more features (such as stroke  borders) .

I have also tried this on two different computers – both fairly good IMACs – and got the same result on both computers.

there must be something I’m missing in the way I set this up

    Chuck

    Thanks Dan
I was hopeful that you had the solution and made some adjustments by increasing image size to fill the cell and increased the side borders.

    Still printed off center!

Attached are photos of my settings and the results

Just finished watching Kevin’s interview with Juliana Chyzhova from Skylum.

I have been using Neo as a plugin within Lightroom and was interested in hearing Kevin describe that he has created both Lightroom and Skylum catalogues based off the same photo folder that houses his photo files.  While this makes sense I have been hesitant to do anything that might mess with the folder that contains the photo files which my Lightroom catalogue uses.

My question – Is it safe to create both Lightroom and Neo catalogues that are referencing the same folder containing all of my photos?  If all the edits to a given Raw file are held in the catalogue it would seem to be OK unless you move a file within either Catalogue.  Has anyone had a problem with creating a separate Neo catalogue using the same folder that is referenced by Lightroom?

Thanks for your thoughts and thanks to Kevin for a nice interview with Skylum

    Chuck

    Mark

To my eye it looks even

I have also tried taking spot light readings in different spots and get the same reading

Next time I scan I’ll take a photo of the light and take a look as histogram on lightroom

Any other suggestions for checking for even illumination?

    Thanks, as always
