    Sometimes you just get lucky and this was the perfect end to a great day of photography. Bamburgh Castle sits on the NE coast of England with a wonderful soft sand beach stretching for many miles on either side. This is Alpenglow from the fading but still colourful sunset behind me. I just kept taking images with a variety of shutter speeds as the light faded. This is the darkest of the versions that I have produced. Ken

    There’s a reason that certain views become clichés. This is one such, but I think your wonderful pastel light transcends the humdrum.
