Here’s what an EF3 can do to your neighborhood. Fortunately, we were a safe bit south of the tornado’s path but our grocer, bookstore, and several of our favorite restaurants and shops are heavily damaged or destroyed. Amazingly, even with a 15 mile path through one of the most populous cities in the country (Dallas, TX) there were no serious injuries or deaths.

I currently use a 9890 and P800. I find the output of both printers quite beautiful. The 9890 certainly has some clogging issues and I always do a nozzle check before printing. Not sure that the additional color inks will add much to my work. While most of my work is B&W I do print in color and have never been disappointed. I’ll be curious to hear if Kevin sees any change in B&W prints compared to the 9890 and P800 and their older ink sets.

    Suzanne,

Thanks for you inspiring article and beautiful images. In four months I am leaving my day job to become a full-time photographer. I was inspired by Keith Carter who said in a workshop I attended in July, “You know what you’re good at but you don’t know what you might be good at.” Now I start pushing the envelop.

Nice to be able to disagree without name calling. Of course I prefer the BW car. Maybe if the world were ruled by photographers, it would be a better place.
