I enjoyed Kevin’s account of his introduction to photography—and, especially, the images of his former analog darkroom.  I shot and printed many rolls of 35mm and 120 film in the darkroom I set up in the 1960s in my parents’ house in Leonia, New Jersey, which was rather primitive, by comparison.  But it served me well for several years and I’m glad I preserved a couple of pictures of it.  It occurs to me that it would be interesting to see the darkrooms of other forum participants.

Agree. Good article and much of it reflects my early teenage experience as well, except I was far less well-equipped darkroom-wise. And I agree with Kevin’s observation that print quality has never been better. I’m doing a lot of work these days between analog and digital and I can see it very clearly.
