I’m currently printing Black and White with the Epson P900.  My primary paper right now is the Canson platine fibre rag. I get good results but was curious what other papers the experts here might suggest for Black and White prints. Just wonder if I’m missing a great paper I should be trying out.

    Cheers

You’ll also get fine results with Epson Legacy Baryta II and Epson Legacy Platine. There are also some new offerings from Hahnemuehle which I shall be reporting on this website in the coming weeks.

We just finished a three-day printing workshop.  I have been very impressed on top of the papers Mark mentions, Red River Polar Pro and their Baryta.

    Hi Kevin

I was checking out RR for the Polar Pro…. I see plenty of Polar Matt and Polar Metallic but not finding a Polar Pro?  Were you referring to the Matte Paper or other?

I noticed in the Paper/Media forum you also referenced a Polar Pro Matte but what really caught my attention was the paper size of 13×38… I had no clue that sheet paper was available in that size… Have you printed on that size of paper with the P900 ?  If so how did it go?…

    Cheers

    George

The 13×38 paper is great for Panos.  I am working on an article.

The paper I was referring to is 60lb Polar Matte

I love it and order boxes in regular photo size like 5x7m 8×10 and 11×14  Ur’a good print on the old traditional sizes

    Their BAryta is really nice.
