    Thanks, Paul. I shot that yesterday from the dock here at our retirement community. The surroundings here are beautiful and beautifully maintained, but I wish I could go shoot some street.

    What a beautiful shot. I love the combination of textures. The moss in the trees is reminiscent of Chinese scroll paintings of the Yellow Mountains.

    Thanks, Chris. One thing I’ve learned is that it’s often true that an overcast can help landscape shots. As HCB pointed out, flat light is a big help in street photography.
