    This lighthouse stands at the far North East corner of Scotland on a stunning stretch of soft golden sand. Taken on a windy day of sunshine and showers at high tide when the sea is high enough to isolate the lighthouse. Big stopper, 30s exposure at 20mm. Ken

    I did try and wade into the water to use the breaking surf as a leading line but had to use a faster shutter speed than I would have liked producing a busier image than the more minimalist feel that I was after. KenDSC8381-1-1600-white-stroke
