    Every piece I have read on the Faroe Islands has a picture of these falls. So nothing original here, but it’s hard to get enough of this scene. Photos of the falls generally look the same from photographer to photographer because the viewing site from an overlooking cliff doesn’t give much room for changing angles. So the photographer’s choice is mostly how wide or long to go. The really big variable is weather; the skies change all the time.

    The second photograph is of the falls as the torrent hits the sea.
