I have always printed my landscape photos on glossy papers such as luster or baryta.  Do any of you print color landscapes on matt papers?  If so what do you like to use?  I like the way there is less glare, but I’m not sure about the detail or rich blacks.

Epson Legacy Fibre is really as good as it gets in these respects for matte papers. Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 305 are all in the same league. But no matter which of them you use, you cannot fully replicate the richness of Black compared to the Luster papers. Detail, however, will be fine.

I have been printing a lot of images on Red River papers.  They have some very nice papers and in regular photo sizes which is pretty cool.  I just finished making prints on 13×38 polar pro matte and the image look great.  The 13x 38 is a great pano size.  I will do a write up on this very soon.
