    Thanks, all. I’m amazed how well it’s turned out. I took it handheld in my garden at dusk, 1/320 (there was a bit of a breeze), f8, ISO 20,000. New noise reduction in LR but not much processing after that.

    Jeremy, If you want serious noise reduction, try DxO’s PureRaw. It’s amazing.

    Russ, the advances in denoising (auto-corrected, amusingly, to demonising) over the past few years have been astounding. Lightroom and Topaz are staggeringly good. I’ll have a look at DxO’s.

    Definitely print worthy Jeremy. I would make a few and vary contrast. There will be great joy in holding the print in your hands and seeing all the detail.

    I made a large print, Kevin. Unfortunately, what it revealed was the blurriness of the bottom-left edge of the main leaf. Time to get the camera out again.
