Not my usual cup of tea, but stumbled on this not-so-recent one today and decided to fiddle with it. C&C more than welcome. This was taken with a little Lumix LX-100 that I had taken to carrying in my coat pocket.

    Great strong shot!

My only niggle is the out-of-focus foreground left triangles. Since the geometry is (for me) what the shot is ‘about’, it may have been stronger to hold focus all the way through?

I agree with Chris and also it’s off vertical, which is a pet thing of mine. But I do think it’s an interesting shot with the shapes, angles and tonality.

Thanks, both. Re the verticals: good catch. Now fixed, but not in the version posted here. Re the out of focus foreground: sigh. That was about the best I could do handheld with a camera that can’t handle higher ISOs (so I was stuck with a wider aperture than I might otherwise have been able to use). I haven’t been back there since COVID started, but at some point, I may go back with proper equipment and redo it. I’d want to focus-stack it.

Daniel: All been said. The shapes and lines are great, but a focus stack would be useful here.
