This is the coolest article I’ve read on photography blogs in a very long time.  Thank you, Jeff Schewe!  I especially liked the video demo of Photoshop 1.0.  I really think it is important to not just track the most recent technology (although that is fun), but also appreciate the history of how we got to where we are today.  Again, thanks to Jeff for sharing his memories of these great contributions.

I agree – truly interesting, and it may be 3 days early but based on a sentence in the article, it seems a propos to wish Jeff a Happy Birthday @67 and many more to come?

Great, stuff – it was a pleasure to read and to be reminded of that breaking time! Thanks a lot, Jeff! And – Happy Birthday from Hamburg (no, not Mark, but the town in Germany ;-))

And for anyone who tried to play the PS 1.0 video on a mobile device and got no sound, that is now fixed.

    Bravo, Jeff….

Thanks so much for this!  Fascinating.  Kevin should twist your arm on a regular basis.  We’d all benefit!
