Two images from before sunrise on the north shore of Lake Eire from late Nov.  it was quite windy and cold but the long exposures smooths out the waves.  The post are the remnants of an old pier when commercial fishing and coal shipments were started around 1900. Most of the great lakes shoreline accessible in southwestern Ontario Canada have been impacted by humans.

I much prefer the second, which I like a lot.

Especially like the second one. I grew up in Buffalo so we used to sail on Lake Erie a lot.

I prefer the colour tones of the first, but the composition of the second. To each his/her own!
