    Lovely composition. My only quibble is the foreground focus point since my eye travels from foreground to background and then, finding no detail, dekes back to the focus point. Did you try other points or stacking?

    But overall a lovely photograph.

    A fine shot, Paul, but I’m with Chris on focus. I understand the problem with the light, but it would have been better had you been able to stop down to f/22 or so and keep everything in focus.

    I guess I fluctuate between the “straight photography” of Adams, et al, and the pictorialists they replaced.

    I agree with you Paul. I very much like the composition as it is, I don’t mind the focus fall off at all. For me it adds to the image. Different tastes.
