Ever since I iMac to Big Sur last week I am unable to drag files from my desktop into Epson Print Layout to print on my P800. Anybody had similar problem? Solutions desperately appreciated.

No problem drag and drop on this end under Big Sur; with supported image formats (it doesn’t support TIFF with some compression).

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Epson Print Layout.

Andrew, you solved my problem. It was a rejection of TIFFs. Oddly, I use Luminar 4 for editing and have always exported to desktop as TIFF. So this is a change. Thanks

It’s able to load TIFFs with LZW or no compression but not TIFFs with Zip compression. Epson is aware of this, doesn’t seem like they will ever fix it.

My hope is that Skylum will either create their own print module inside Luminar AI or allow the LZW to be exported directly into Epson Layout Print. The present situation is very “clunky”. The way my P800 keeps churning out high quality prints (even with weeks on end of disuse) I doubt I will ever need to upgrade to a P900. With all the expert help and advice on this website, I am able to satisfy all my needs. Thanks to all.

I have owned Epson color printers for almost 20 years. The Epson P800 was an awesome tool for almost 5 years. I am a hobbyist so I could go for months without printing. I never had any head clogging or other issues with my P800.

I upgraded to the P900 a month ago and the improvement in image quality, especially B&W, along with a smaller and quieter package are a very welcome upgrade. Highly recommended!
