I like the idea, Paul, but I’m not sure there’s enough contrast between the foreground promontory and the background canyon. The two aren’t obviously sufficiently separate. I think if you darken the background, and perhaps lighten the promontory, you’d have a more striking result.

Thanks for the input. I had reprocessed it after I posted and that may have helped. Certainly in the print, the contrast is pretty apparent.
