Capture One’s NEW License Options (Terrible)
    on: January 19, 2023 at 10:01 pm

First, Kevin, glad to hear that you will still be using Imageprint.

Second, I may be in the minority of those commenting but in reality, is $179 per annum that much? Yes, I am also retired. Yes, I have a subscription to CO. Yes, I feel it does a great job with my Sony A1 files. I take my photography seriously, and in my opinion, the quality of the resulting image more than makes up for the fee. We spend more on HGH-quality SD or CF cards. CO is not a massive company like Adobe; there are give and takes when a smaller company tries to change. However, I remember those bitching about paying the $120 for the Adobe photo program. Just my opinion, and as I already said, I am probably in the minority, but I am staying put with CO.

I have subscriptions to both Lightroom and Capture One, but I am curious about one alternative that seems no one is mentioning. Has anyone who is upset with Capture One and does not want to use Lightroom, thought of using Photo Mechanic Plus with ACR or DXO Photolab?

Also, Kevin, if you did switch to LR why would you abandon Imageprint?
