With this a major Health problem that is spreading – will the reality or parnoia have an effect on your photography?
Limit places you were planning on visiting? Force changes in travel plans?
This sign is on all the outside doors of the County Courthouse Building in Bottineau, North Dakota. County Health Department is concerned – for many reasons. The Canadian border is a short drive to the North. Worries about infected visitors coming into town from Canada is openly voiced as the WalMart store draws hundred in each week.
Will this health issue have to be considered as you plan your visits and trips for the forseeable future?

I suppose it is a waiting game to see. I can tell you that the few Chinese that were scheduled to be on our cruise to Antarctica were not allowed to be on the trip. There is a whole charter that was filled with Chinese that have had to cancel. And, before we were allowed to board we went through a health screening y a doctor. For now, with all the travels I have in and out of the country it will not affect what I have planned.

Having worked with rabies virus daily for 16 years I’m probably a bit jaded (and you don’t want to see me when the full moon comes out) but no, not really.

In some ways I’ll limited. My photo club meetings and outings are cancelled. Fortunately for me I’m just a hobbyist. I do feel for those whose livelihood is impacted. Like heading out with a single prime lens for a day of shooting, I’ll just have to get creative.
