I believe that this behaviour has become more common recently. There is likely a prime culprit.
PhotoPXL seems to have become a ‘site of interest’ to spammers and hackers. We have been having to increase the security levels of the site and part of that is a shortened window of the ‘logged in’ status.
Also, a changed browser environment (OS, browser, cookie settings) on a member’s machine will trigger this – as will members who use multiple devices.
Yes, I appreciate the need for diligence in regard to site & forum security…….it is a pity it needs to be done 🙁
I do use both my PC and Android smartphone to access the various fora I subscribe to , though 100% using Chrome. So other than such dual devices nothing else is varied. Though on the PC, not too sure about the phone, I run a tight ship in regard to cookies as best I can…….this is mainly set within Eset Internet Security. Is there anything that perhaps I should be aware of to create a more stable login???
