    Thanks, Guy!   This was shot on the shore of Mono Lake.  The manzanita had been burned in a fire earlier in the year – making the contrast about as extreme as it gets.  GFX 100 handled the images well, allowing an amazing amount of shadow detail to be recovered.   I spent quite a while walking about arranging compositions, and ended up liking this one best.
