Wonderful documentary series; poignant, beautiful, amusing – I love the spirited ‘Juvies’

Thanks, Chris. Here are a few more. Won’t be long before I run out. One thing I probably should emphasize is this: I’ve been to war three times now, but I don’t shoot war pictures. There are plenty of Magnum guys out there doing that. What I’m interested in and what I shoot is the life of the people around me in an unfamiliar social environment. That’s what’s fascinating. War always is the same.

I don’t know whether or not my .PDF introduction on here is visible to readers, but when I’m finished putting up pictures I’ll post a link to the whole set readers can download from my web if they’re interested.

Outstanding images.  This series brings back memories.  The only reason I did not get drafted to go to Vietnam is my lottery number (266) and the fact that the war was winding down around the time I was eligible to be drafted.

And more #5. And I’m going to stop here. If anyone’s interested, you can download the whole package, including one more picture and the PDF introduction from here: http://www.russ-lewis.com/Download/Vietnam-1965.zip. It’s a freebie.
