Here are a few random bits and pieces from a recent holiday to Vancouver Island.
The ferry ride provides endless opportunities for photos, which are unreasonably difficult to turn in to anything worthwhile.
Mud flats at the mouth of the Puntledge River. There is a strange scree field of boulders, as well as the remains of ancient fish weirs out there.
Obligatory beach vegetation. Always beckoning, oh so photogenic, etc.
Welcome to our island! The spear grass is (unfortunately) invasive, but still photographic. ?
