    Not sure… I like the sinuous line leading to the first bergy bit, but at the same time I wonder if the (mostly blank) foreground is maybe too dominant. A part of me would cut it to say 4:1 and see what that looks like. I’d also like to see it in grayscale, just to compare.

    Thanks, Mike. I looked at it in B&W but it didn’t work, for me at any rate. There isn’t enough contrast between the calm and the rippled water. A 4:1 crop is an interesting idea, but you’d  lose most of the trail. I’ll fiddle with it a little more.
