    That’s appealing. I’d be inclined to crop off the left-hand quarter.

    Thanks, Jeremy. Only problem is that there’s another palmetto over there on the left side, and the picture’s really about the distribution of the light.

    Nice image Russ.  I am doing a lot of exploring of what I call a picture in a picture.  I see several nice possibilities if you would step closer or use a longer lens.  The images would be more abstract but a subject like this gives the opportunity to explore a subject deeper.  Just a thought.

    Thanks, Kevin. It’s what HCB said: “Looking is everything.” I think I’ll be looking closer in the future. I got a couple technically satisfactory pictures of birds this morning, but they’re duplicates pretty much of shots I’ve made before. Not being able to get out to places where I can do street, I’m beginning to run out of easily accessible subjects.
