    These tidal ridges give a lovely symmetry. With all that sweeping downward energy, I feel a little cheated by the narrowness of the water base. I think I might also experiment with fuller contrast, especially if there is more water which could be the darkest tone.

    Beautiful. One way to mitigate Chris’s (valid) criticism is to crop it just above the waterline and render it more as an abstract.

    Thanks. There’s plenty of dark water below the bottom of this crop. I’ll have a look.

    I can see Chris’ perspective, and I also echo Rajan’s comment about the abstraction. Do both and see which you like best!
