Kevin’s recent post on switching up his iceberg image and Louis’ recent post on envisioning the image reminded me of a phone app I have that I haven’t pulled out in a while – called Prisma. I believe it’s available for both Android and iPhone. They do try hard up front to sell you a subscription (and in these times who can blame them?) but if you just want to try it out you can skip that part. You just pull up an image and then choose an overlay you want to try. Swiping left/right varies the amount of the effect.

It’s my brother-in-law’s birthday today and my computer needs to visit the shop, so I pulled up an image on my phone:

    Clover-Point

After choosing an effect in Prisma and dialing it back to about 55% I got this:

    A quick trip through Snapseed:

Voilà!! Great art it’s not, but it is fun. ?

    Mike.

    P. S. I remember writing a bit about Prisma a few years back: https://www.wolfnowl.com/2018/11/creative-photography-work/
