    Good scene. Worth straightening?

Hi Jeremy, As far as Photoshop’s concerned it’s straightened, but the dock house is a bit out of plumb. A further manual straightening gets me to this. Not everything is completely lined up even now.The-Dock

That version makes me feel less uneasy, Russ, but of course the disadvantage is the crop of the roof on the left. Ah well.

Yep. That bothers me too, Jeremy. On the other hand, the dock is still out there and that anhinga sometimes perches up on the roof. I’ll look for a re-shoot. I pulled the shot to the right so the pilings on the left would be in the picture. Next time I’ll use a shorter focal length. With the D850 there’s enough resolution for a crop.

    A Second AttemptA-Second-Attempt

Here we go, Jeremy, except that this time the anhinga is on the railing instead of the roof.
