    I like the contrast one gets when the sun is just coming over a mountain ridge.  Despite the mosquitoes, the alpine light is always glorious.

    Hi Hugh,  You know what I really like about this is the trees on the spit of land dead center.  I’d play with this image a bit darkening the foreground trees and draw attention to the center trees.  Pretty darn nice image.

    It’s an attractive scene and I think Kevin’s suggestions are good. Was the background really so blue? It looks odd to me.

    Thanks so much for the feedback.  I see what you’re saying about the foreground. The brightness shifts the focus of the spit in the lake.
