    Haven’t done any of these in a while, but they can be fun. Take an image and crop it in half. Invert it, then paste the original back in place. Push it around a bit. You never know what the final result will yield.

    The first is an attractive imitation of a lake reflection, but it doesn’t particularly grab my attention. The second, though, is a wonderfully disconcerting abstract.
