    Abandoned: Jefferson Proving Grounds

On a whim I opened this article. I enjoyed the tour. Laughed at the “2 explosion proof/1 residential” photograph.  Brought back memories…I worked in a factory that was all explosion proof.

I enjoyed all the images–then saw the b&w images. Strength. Character.

I enjoyed the architecture and decay and patterns.

Another lifetime I had work to do in jails, psychiatric hospitals and centres for developmentally challenged adults.  Now some are gone; I’ve found photos of some of the sites I knew by people who explored at great risk.

So this article made me think; made me remember.  I’m thankful for that.

Thanks Dave.  Mission accomplished.  That is what photography is all about.

    Thanks Kevin! Truly.

I’m colour blind. I need to shoot B&W more. That’s my conclusion after seeing your photos
