Another fun and informative video was posted today on Inkjet Paper types and surfaces.  Jeff Schewe and Dan Steinhardt along with myself talk about the digfferent surfaces available as the different types of Epson papers.  I’m sure you will enjoy it. Read the article HERE.

    Hi Kevin and all,

Since the Epson papers are not available in Europe (we discussed this before) it would be interesting to understand whether Legacy Fibre is as smooth (while dead matt at the same time) as Canson Baryta Photographique II Matt (one of my favourites), or whether it has a bit more texture to it such as Hahnemühle Photorag Ultra Smooth (which is quite smooth, but I find ultra a bit strong of a word). Just out of curiosity.

    Thanks,

    Erik

    Erik,

In my experience you will find the Canson papers very close if not identical to Epson Legacy.  I’ll speak to Canson about this soon and see if we can come back with something more definitive.  I have both Canson and Epson Baryta and I’ll try a text on these next week side by side.

Yes, I’d really appreciate that information too.
