    Hello everyone,

I joined recently. I currently live in the UK, but took this shot in my hometown Hamburg, Germany. We managed to drive across without problems and back without quarantine!

The image was shot on my (now ancient) Olympus E-5 and has been processed in Lightroom (4.2)…

    Any comments welcome!

    Thanks for looking.

    Frank

Nice image.  The lead in from the left corner then being drawn upward with the verticals works well.  Nice to see you corrected the perspective (keystone).

It seems a bit constrained to me, like a group of people squeezing together to fit into the frame… but I say that w/o knowing the scene or what lies outside of the frame. 🙂

Hi Mike, I know what you mean. Unfortunately there wasn’t any more space to back up onto and outside the frame the scene was even more busy. I think the geometry nicely frames the old city hall…
