Good shooting, Andrew. Faces always are worthwhile.

Pretty cool shots.  You have been doing a lot of these lately and they are really nice and tell a story or begs a question.  Well done.

    Thanks guys.

I go down to the protests/demonstrations with the 300mm and put it on to get the speakers. Sometimes I swing it around to the crowd too, and it’s always very worthwhile. There’s a level of interest, emotion, engagement here that’s interesting. On the one hand, they’re listening to some doofus with a microphone speechifying, but on the other hand they’re interested and excited.

It helps that the speakers are frequently children, who are much less prone to droning on until everyone goes to sleep.

Nice shots. FYI, in Canada at least you could be sued for privacy violation. It’s got nothing to do with what you do with the images, but rather that you’re pulling one person out rather than shooting the event per se. I’m no lawyer, but that’s my understanding of it.

    Mike.
