Epson SC P 7570 nozzle check missing spaces

The way that system is constructed, from what I’ve seen when my older 4900 was taken down, I believe there is very little likelihood that this is the case, unless it is coming from a poor fit of the yellow cartridge. The only way to know for sure is purging and testing and re-purging and re-testing a few times. If that doesn’t work, then time to look for other possibilities. Test one thing at a time.

If you are uncertain about possible air leakage or pressure problems you should ask Epson to send the following testing equipment on their next visit and have their tech perform an “Air Leak Check for the Ink System”, they can test each ink bay for any issues, in particular the yellow ink bay.

The equipment required is as follows:

•  Ink Leak Measurement Jig (with digital pressure gauge GC66) (Battery type: 1 x CR2016 (3V))
• INK LEAK CHECK CARTRIDGE

Thank you Mark! I followed your advice to the letter and haven’t had a missing yellow nozzle since the day you posted your advice.
