Has anyone managed to use this utility on a Mac?

I’m trying to set up a paper type for Breathing Color Crystalline Satin on my shiny new SC-P7500. EMI will launch, gather paper types from the printer, let me duplicate one and let me edit it; but it refuses to save any of the changes. I click OK in the edit dialog and it just sits there. It will let me cancel (which is jolly useful) but not save (which would be even better).

    Mac Mojave, latest updates.

    Jeremy,

As you’ve already found out, it’s a bug in the Mac version of EMI.  My contact at Epson says HQ now knows about it and a fix is in the works.  Should see it in the next couple of weeks.

New version of Epson Media Installer showed up on my Epson Software Updater utility today.  W-10 machine.  Mac guys may want to check to see if a new version has been released for Apple OS that fixes the broken “save” function.

    Rand, sadly, no.

There’s a new(wish) driver, dated 24th June 2020, available on the Epson UK site (Mac Mojave), but EMI is still at v1.1.0.
