I just published a new article about my experience in Hokkaido, Japan during a workshop there last year.  It’s about how to find a good picture in a difficult landscape.  You can read it HERE.

It turned out to be a fascinating morning, Kevin, didn’t it? Seeing what each of us could come up with in what seemed initially to be a rather unpromising environment.

Here are a few of mine.

Lovely images.  I love the image with the small snowball hat rolled down the hill.  All well fone.

It was an interesting morning for sure.  We all came away with maybe some of the better images of the trip.

Love the image of the snow fences. It reminds me of a multiplicity shot of somebody slaloming down the hill. And the snowball reminds me of something Andy Goldsworthy might put together.
