    Hi Folks:

I really enjoyed this interview between Walter Borchenko of B3K Digital and Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky. He’s using moderate telephoto lenses and focus stacking on landscape images. The Phase One IQ4 he’s using does focus stacking inside the camera; something my Sony A7RIII could do with a firmware update. I’ve done focus stacking for landscapes manually, but it’s really time-consuming working with (estimated) DoF over distances.

    Mike.

P.S. Edward also reiterated Kevin’s perspective on the “6-inch view”

Ed is quite the photographer.  If you go to my old website you’ll find an extensive interview with Ed.  Chris and I spent a most amazing day with Ed and did a lot of behind the scenes material of his studio and lab.  I’ll watch Walter’s interview tomorrow.  Walter is a really good guy.

Kevin: I went to (the website that must not be named). There are posts for a 3-part series with Ed, but the videos are unavailable. 😔
