An article from the Affinity folks, for those who are interested. Unless you want to pay $50/month for InDesign, Affinity Publisher is good software IMHO, and integrates well with Photo and Designer.

After switching from LR to Capture One Pro, I canceled my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. I purchased Affinity Photo to replace Photoshop for my occasional pixel-level editing needs. Since then, I purchased Affinity Designer and Publisher for a few projects.

The affinity suite are very powerful apps and relatively easy to learn. Highly recommended if you don’t have to live within the Adobe Suite infrastructure for group work or compatibility concerns.
