Fairy Pools

January 30, 2020

The original colour version of a previous uploaded mono image. The Fairy Pools are an incredibly popular photo spot on Skye in Scotland. They have also become a wild swimming spot and even on this cold early April day lots of the deeper pools and waterfalls had large numbers of bathers “spoiling” the chances of obtaining “wild” images. However everybody has the right to use the countryside in their own chosen way even if their fun did curtail mine. This image has much of the mood of the 18th and 19th Century Scottish landscape painters. Ken
